Good place to spend a night— great price, good location. We were driving through Wausau and ended up eating at a nearby restaurant when we decided to stay the night. The Wausau Towers was easy to book online - definitely become a BW member to get the best rates. Our room was clean, and had great sun light in the morning. Quiet night- and decent breakfast in the morning with lots of options. I would stay here again.
We ended up staying here during a snowstorm after a horrible experience at another motel nearby—and what a relief. This place was exactly what we needed: clean, quiet, and comfortable. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and everything worked perfectly. We immediately felt safe and at ease here, which meant a lot since we were four women traveling with dogs in the middle of a storm. The staff was kind and check-in was smooth, even with the weather. It honestly felt like night and day compared to where we had just come from. The only area that could use a little improvement is the breakfast—it was pretty basic and kind of a mess—but still a nice touch during a tough trip. Overall, we were so grateful for this place. I’d absolutely recommend it and would stay again in a heartbeat.
Great experience. Good location, easy to get to. Room was clean and quiet even with guests on both sides of room, bed and pillows comfy. View of Rib Mountain. Many good options for breakfast, hot and/or cold. What I had was very good. Had dinner in hotel pub; staff and food was exceptional and good value. No issues with elevator to 5th floor; stairs work well too. Fair price for night. I’d stay here again.
Easy on and off highway location. Close to stores, restaurants, (one inside hotel as well), gas stations, and activities. Staff is always friendly, and rooms are clean and comfortable. I've stayed here a few times and never have any issues. Breakfast had great options, plus there is a vending machine and small market area for other snacks. Friends host birthday parties for kids there, and there is enough space in the conference room for that. Great place to stay!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was better than expected. Quiet (which I asked for), clean and fully stocked. The room had a sauna which I didn’t use but looked new. I was given a discount because of an agreement they have with the local hospital. There is a bar which seemed very popular and a complete lunch/dinner menu to order from. It’s walking distance to a couple of grocery stores. The breakfast was fine. Standard free breakfast which is served at equivalent hotels. The hotel has a unique round shape which is different (in a good way). Really glad I stumbled across this find.
